Arsenal are preparing to open transfer talks with Crystal Palace over a potential deal for dynamic England winger, Eberechi Eze.

According to TalkSport, the Gunners are keen on securing the 27-year-old without activating his hefty £68 million release clause.

Mikel Arteta’s side are believed to value Eze’s creativity and ability to unlock defences, especially after missing out on several midfield targets earlier in the window.

Over at Liverpool, the Reds are ramping up their search for a striker and have reportedly held discussions with Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta.

As reported by FootMercato, the 28-year-old French forward recently met with Liverpool representatives in Paris. While no deal is yet in place, the meeting signals serious intent as Jurgen Klopp’s successor seeks to add more firepower up front.

Football Transfers reveals that Manchester United have struck a deal with Brentford for Cameroon international Bryan Mbeumo.

The 25-year-old attacker is expected to join the Red Devils imminently, in a move that adds pace, pressing ability, and versatility to Erik ten Hag’s frontline.

Brentford, already preparing for life after Mbeumo, have identified Omari Hutchinson as a top replacement. According to Evening Standard, the Bees are in talks to sign the 21-year-old Ipswich Town and England U21 winger, who impressed on loan from Chelsea last season.

The Blues, meanwhile, are juggling several transfer threads. Reports from TBR Football suggest they retain “active interest” in Manchester United starlet Alejandro Garnacho, 21, and could make a formal bid soon.

At the same time, A Bola reports that Benfica are in continued negotiations with Chelsea for a permanent move for Portuguese attacker João Félix, though the West London club is said to prefer a sale rather than another loan.

Despite speculation linking Benoît Badiashile with a move to Marseille, the French centre-back told FootMercato he’s staying put at Chelsea. “I’m focused on Chelsea and looking forward to next season,” he said.

Elsewhere, West Ham United are making moves of their own, reportedly adding Liverpool’s England U21 duo Harvey Elliott and Tyler Morton to their transfer shortlist, per Mail Sport.

Manchester United aren’t slowing down after the Mbeumo deal. L’Équipe reports that the club has made contact with Lyon over the availability of veteran midfielder Corentin Tolisso, 30, as the Red Devils look to bolster their options in the middle of the park.

Former Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is on the verge of returning to French football, with La Provence reporting that the 36-year-old Gabonese striker is set to leave Saudi side Al-Qadsiah for Marseille.

Manchester City, meanwhile, are ready to sell promising midfielder James McAtee, 22, this summer. According to Football Insider, the club is motivated by Profit and Sustainability Rules, and Fabrizio Romano confirms McAtee is currently in Germany to hold talks with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Wolves are close to landing Jhon Arias, with Mail reporting a £15 million deal for the Colombian winger from Fluminense is nearly complete.
